The average prices

LGV training prices can very depending on the area that you are looking to train in and how fast you aim to complete your licence.

Whether you decide to take a Category C or Category C + E licence will effect on the price that you pay.

A Category C licence, allows drivers to drive a Rigid Body, Class 1 or Light Goods Vehicle. These vehicles are usually used for general deliveries and typically weight over 3,500kg.

Although an LGV Vehicle comes into the lower price bracket of the two categories, LGV Training Prices can still vary depending upon the area in which you decide to do your licence training.

The average pricing barriers for an LGV Training Course for Category C is between £900 and £1,100. The price that you pay will also be inclusive of a number of benefits.

If you wish to be able to drive a HGV, you will be required to undertake an additional licence. This is a Category C + E licence, which will require seperate training and a higher charge.
